I'm just a guy who paints. I have been painting for about 20 years. I have always loved landscapes and the outdoors. Combining the two only seemed natural. I took some classes and workshops from some very good artists and then just did a lot of plein air painting. I have won some best in shows at several shows but I don't really like the art show scene. I don't think anyones art should be judged by one person who decides if it is good or bad. If the artist likes, and the viewer, then that is all that matters. Of course, all artists can improve and grow and that is what we all strive to do. Every artist will tell you their art evolves, just as we all do.

I live in San Antonio, Tx. with my wife, Karen. I teach adapted physical education and hope to retire in a couple of years. I then hope to have much more time to devote to my art and my other interests which now includes making jewelry from various metals.
